Marching Band

The Hebron Marching Band is about 300 members from all 4 concert bands, the colorguard, and percussion section.  There are typically 4 drum majors, 7 band officers and about 30 other student leaders.  This ensemble, in conjunction with the Wind Symphony, has been a consistent UIL sweepstakes award winner since the opening of the school in 1999.  In 2012, the ensemble was awarded the silver medal at the UIL State Marching Contest.  The Hebron Band is also a consistent Bands of America regional and super regional finalist, most recently being named the 2013 DFW Regional Champion and the 2013 San Antonio Super Regional silver medalist.  In 2010, the Hebron Marching Band was awarded the John Philip Sousa Foundations Sudler Shield Award recognizing “Marching Bands of World Class Excellence”. The students in the ensemble pride themselves in striving for the same musical achievement in the concert bands as they do outside on the move.
